palm springs vacation

i would like to go to palm springs next summer does anyone know how much money i would need to spend a week there. i'm in college so i need to start saving now. i will fly and i'm not sure if i'll stay with some friends that lived there. help!!

With this much advance notice, you'll have plenty of time to save! The biggest questions are - where are you flying from - if you're coming from overseas, that will certainly be a big expense. And, accommodations will be also be a big part of your travel expenses. If you stay with friends, as you know that will save you a whole bunch of money! Also, factor in what you want to do while in town. While summer in Palm Springs can be pretty HOT, you'll avoid seasonal crowds, hotel prices will be priced lower and all the while you'll still enjoy a beautiful destination!
