Can you tell me the weather in early October? Also, is the downtown area safe to stay in or is one better staying in Rancho Mirage or Indian Wells?

Lauren,

The average high in Palm Springs during the month of October is 91°F (33°C) and the average low is 61°F (16°C) Very nice! And, yes, downtown Palm Springs is a safe place to stay.

Have a great visit to Palm Springs & enjoy!

Cool September Morning Palm Springs Weather

I live in Palm Springs and I would guesstimate the temperature at 9:30am to be in the mid 80's with low humidity. However, it may rise 10 degrees or more by 11AM.

Hello,
Right now the temps are warming up in Palm Springs... This weekend it is supposed to get up in the upper 90's... It should be a very nice...blue skies & plenty of sunshine. July-August is the hottest times of the year...where you can see 110-118 in the afternoon...HOT!!! But I have to tell you I love the heat...but 70 on Christmas Day is very nice too!
Enjoy... Check out the weather & temps at www.psview.com
