New Years Eve events?

Two middle aged couples will be in PS for New Years Eve. What are some of the special events? We've already seen the Palm Spring Follies so would like other suggestions. Also suggestions for a restaurant please. We like all kinds of music, but would prefer a small club rather than a large hotel party. Thanks.

Where will you be staying in Palm Springs? If you're staying in a hotel or a resort, perhaps they will be offering something intimate and special for New Year's Eve as opposed to a huge party. The Palm Springs Follies is presenting two New Year’s Eve performances beginning at 3:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. These special events kick-off with a champagne reception where each patron receives a goody bag, hat and noisemaker. More info: http://palmsprings.com/active/follies.html
